When are evaluations?
Evaluations for 2010 will take place on Monday April 5th. Unfortunately we cant post the times until we have a final number of registrants for each division. However, we can tell you the time block is 5-9pm, with younger teams going first and older teams going later.
How long does the league last?
The league runs from early April to late May, ending before Memorial Day weekend. For most levels there is 1 evaluation, 1practice, and 8 games plus playoffs.
Are there games during Spring Break?
In 2010 Spring Break Starts April 16th. Therefore this year we will not skate April 16h-23rd, but we will skate Saturday the 24th.
Will Spring Hockey interfere with other spring sports?
Usually not. Many of our players also play baseball or lacrosse. We have made every effort to provide days and approximate times in the program description for each level.
Can players request to play on the same team?
Because of the nature of the league, there are only rare cases in which we can take requests. If players have an unusually long drive, we will consider carpooling requests. However, we cannot take friend requests.
We have an evaluation process and rating system. Our # 1 goal is to make teams as even as possible. In order to do so we must be strict with this rule. We find that the RXHL is actually a great opportunity for players to skate with other players and make new friends!
Can players move up a division?
Yes. Players are allowed to move up to the division they will be playing in the fall. Generally more experienced players should consider this move. There is no checking at ALL levels.
How many players are on each team?
No team will have more than 3 lines, and all players play equally.
How do I know what team I am on and who my coach is?
We have an evaluation before the season where we rate players and try to split them up to make even teams. Players can find their team by clicking on the "Team/Stats/Standings" page at the top of the screen. By chooing the correct division, you will be able to view all team rosters. From there you can find your schedule as well!
Ponies should report based on the schedule on the website.
Rosters and team schedules will be available 2-3 days after evaluations on the website.
